Curfew violators are taken to a covered court in Manila to receive a short seminar from the soldiers about social distancing.

In the video, the offenders wearing masks sat down at the side of the basketball court as the soldiers talked to them about the dangers of the pandemic.

Eighty-four individuals were caught outside their houses during curfew hours on March 22 evening. Everyone must be indoors after 8pm and the measures are being enforced by the military.

The lockdown policy preventing people from leaving their cities has been implemented in major regions in the Philippines to fight the spread of COVID-19.
