A semi-trailer burst into flames due to petrol leak after it crashed into the road barriers on a highway in southwestern China.

Dramatic CCTV video, provided by the local fire brigade in Ning'er Hani and Yi Autonomous County in Yunnan Province on March 25, shows a ball of fire suddenly emerging from the semi-trailer after it lost control and bumped into the barriers on G8511 Kunming–Mohan Expressway.

Firemen were seen spraying water over the vehicle in an attempt to extinguish the flames.

The fire was reportedly caused by petrol leaking out of the semi-trailer during the collision.

Fortunately, the semi-trailer did not carry any items and two people in the vehicle were not injured.
