Plane bursts into flames on Carolina highway after making forced landing

A small plane crash-landed on Interstate 26 West in North Carolina on Thursday night, December 14.The plane that carried 2 people forced landed on the highway between Long Shoals and Airport roads near the Asheville Regional Airport but caught fire afterward. The westbound lane was closed indefinitely following the accident.
