Walmart Will Pay Close to
$550 Million in Employee Bonuses Referred to as a "mini-stimulus" by
one of Walmart's executive vice presidents,
the cash bonuses will be paid out to hourly employees. Full-time employees will receive $300,
with part-time employees receiving $150. Employees who have been with the company
since March 1 will receive the bonus,
which will be paid out on April 2. Walmart will also hire 150,000 new
employees through the end of May. The company employs
1.3 million people in the U.S. According to one executive,
