Walmart plans to pay a one-time cash bonus to its hourly workers in the U.S. According to Business Insider, it will pay $300 to full-time employees and $150 to part-time employees. Walmart's executive vice president of corporate affairs said: "They're doing Herculean work in our stores and serving customers in frankly a tense environment.” The company said it would also hire 150,000 employees during the coronavirus pandemic.
