Amazon Hourly Employees Losing Monthly Bonuses and Stock Awards Amazon’s minimum wage increase is coming at a price for some workers. The e-commerce giant confirmed to CNBC that they are getting rid of monthly bonuses and stock awards as it increases starting pay to $15 an hour. This may actually put some of Amazon’s warehouse employees at a disadvantage. Many employees receive an AMZN share worth nearly $2,000 at the end of every year and a single share for every five years of employment. However, Amazon believes the pay increase more than fairly compensates for the loss of those benefits. Amazon spokesperson, via CNBC Workers will be given the opportunity to
review the new pay structures and
express any concerns they may have with the company.
