This year Mahashivaratri will be celebrated on 21 February. The festival of Mahashivaratri will be celebrated with great pomp in different pagodas across the country. Worship will be done with great enthusiasm in the major temples across the country, including the four dhams. Riddhalu will gather in the pagoda and pray to see Lord Shiva in large numbers. It is said that on this day, the wishes of Lord Shiva from the true heart are fulfilled.

इस साल महाशिवरात्रि 21 फरवरी को मनाई जाएगी. देश भर के अलग-अलग शिवालयों में महाशिवरात्रि का पर्व बड़े धूमधाम से मनाया जाएगा. चारों धामों सहित देश भर के प्रमुख मंदिरों में बड़े ही हर्षोल्लास के साथ पूजा-अर्चना की जाएगी. ऋद्धालु बड़ी संख्या में भगवान शिव का दर्शन करने के लिए शिवालयों में जुटेंगे और याचना करेंगे. कहा जाता है कि इस दिन भगवान शिव से सच्चे मन से मांगी गई मुराद जरूरी पूरी होती है.
