Across southern China, families celebrate Lunar New Year with fermented rice soup and rice cakes. We visited the home of Dianxi Xiaoge, a food influencer in China’s southwest, to learn how to make both from scratch.
This video is part of a six-episode collaboration with Dianxi Xiaoge. With over 11 million followers worldwide, Dianxi Xiaoge is known for her cooking videos showcasing the traditional food of Yunnan Province. We went to live with her for a week and learned how to make her most iconic dishes.
