Coronavirus: cross-border commuters rush back to Hong Kong before city imposes quarantine measures
  • 4 years ago
Shenzhen Bay is among only three border crossings connecting Hong Kong and the Chinese mainland that remain open as the city imposes measures to contain the spread of the coronavirus. The port has seen a rush of cross-border traffic as thousands of people try to enter Hong Kong before midnight February 8, 2020, when all travellers from mainland China – including the city’s own residents – will be required to go into a 14-day quarantine.
