Chicken korma..easy and quick

Korma is a Mughlai dish from north India.It has its roots in the Mughlai cuisine. The flavor of korma is based on a mixture of spices incorporated with yogurt,onion,ginger and garlic.It is then cooked in stock of meat.Traditionally this dish is made in a pot set on charcoal on low flame. A korma is a mildly spiced dish which can be made using lamb,goat meat and chicken.Today in this recipe we will learn to make korma with chicken in an easiest and quickest way in my North Indian style giving mouthwatering aroma all over. Ingredients for the recipe are as follows..
500 gm of chicken
1/3 cup of thick curd
2 large onion( fried golden and grind well which makes approx 1/2 cup)
4 tbsp of ginger and garlic paste
1 tbsp of salt or as per taste
1 tbsp of red chili powder or as per taste
1/2 tsp pf kashmiri red chili powder
1 tbsp of garam masala powder (prefer homemade)
1+1/4 cup of water if coking in cooker( add 1/4 cup more if cooking in open pan)water can be adjusted more or less for the consistency you want.
1/2 tsp of cardamom powder
This dish can be cooked in an open pan or as well in pressure cooker. Though I am sharing the quickest way, I am making this dish in cooker.
