उज्जैन के महाकाल मंदिर की तर्ज पर अब वाराणसी के काशी विश्वनाथ मंदिर में भी ड्रेस कोड लागू किया जा रहा है. ड्रेस कोड के मुताबिक मंदिर में काशी विश्वनाथ के स्पर्श दर्शन के लिए अब पुरुषों को धोती -कुर्ता और महिलाओं को साड़ी पहनना अनिवार्य होगा... इन्हीं पारंपरिक वस्त्रों के धारण करने के बाद ही काशी विश्वनाथ को स्पर्श किया जा सकेगा.
