In its 5th edition ‘She the People’s Digital Women Awards’ recognised 20 digital entrepreneurs in categories like impact, content, distribution, marketing and leadership. The idea of the awards was to recognise startups and brands that are led by women who are building internet based businesses. Several reports suggest that India can potentially achieve an 18 percent increase in our GDP which roughly translates to USD 700 billion by 2025 simply by diversifying our workforce.
