Deployment of Army, Navy and Air Force Special Forces is going on to carry out joint operations against terrorists in Kashmir Valley. Para-Special Forces of the Army, the elite unit of the three armies, Marine Commandos of the Navy, Marcos and Garuda Special Forces of the Air Force are being deployed for the operation. The deployment is under the newly formed Armed Forces Special Operations Division of the Ministry of Defense.

कश्मीर घाटी में आतंकियों के खिलाफ जाइंट ऑपरेशन चलाने के लिए आर्मी, नेवी और एयर फोर्स के स्पेशल फोर्स की तैनाती जारी है। ऑपरेशन के लिए तीनों सेनाओं की एलिट इकाई आर्मी के पैरा-स्पेशल फोर्सेज, नेवी के मरीन कमांडोज यानी मारकोस और एयर फोर्स के गरुड़ स्पेशल फोर्स को तैनात किया जा रहा है। तैनाती रक्षा मंत्रालय के नवगठित आर्म्ड फोर्सेज स्पेशल ऑपरेशंस डिविजन के तहत हो रही है।
