Good morning. Morning lows have risen compared to yesterday but it's a cold start with the gusty wind. The cold eases up this afternoon, thanks to mild westerly winds but do dress in layers. We can expect much milder conditions on Friday.
Morning lows in the central region are in negative territory, at minus 5 degrees Celsius in Seoul, even Daegu seeing minus 1 degree. Meanwhile, dry weather continues in mountainous regions in Gangwon-do Province with dry weather alerts in place.
Highs will top yesterday for many regions. Seoul at 9 degrees, southern parts of the country will see highs in the mid to upper teens. There will be a fair amount of cloud and sunshine with good to normal air quality.
There won't be any major cold snap until the weekend under mostly sunny skies, but nationwide rain is in store for Sunday.
