Senior N. Korean diplomat Choi Sun-hee departs on trip to Russia

North Korea's First Vice Foreign Minister Choi Sun-hee is reportedly in Russia for talks with her Russian counterparts.
The Russian Embassy in Pyeongyang said on Monday that Choi had departed the North Korean capital on a trip to Russia.
The embassy also released a photo of Russia's ambassador to the North escorting her to the plane at Pyeongyang's Sunan International Airport.
The diplomat is said to have arrived in the far eastern city of Vladivostok on Monday, and is expected to board a flight to Moscow on Tuesday.
While the exact purpose of her visit is unclear, Japan's Kyodo News Agency speculates Choi will discuss the regime's stalled denuclearization talks with the U.S.
