According to sources, it is proposed to increase the maximum sum insured from the current Rs 6 lakh to Rs 10 lakh, while the minimum insurance amount can be increased from the current Rs 2.5 lakh to Rs 4 lakh.

नौकरी करने वालों को जल्द बड़ा तोहफा मिल सकता है. EPFO ने अपने सदस्यों के लिए जीवन बीमा की राशि बढ़ाने की तैयारी शुरू कर दी है. सूत्रों के मुताबिक अधिकतम बीमा राशि को मौजूदा 6 लाख रुपये से बढ़ाकर 10 लाख रुपये करने का प्रस्ताव है जबकि न्यूनतम बीमा राशि मौजूदा 2.5 लाख रुपये से बढ़कर 4 लाख रुपये हो सकती है.
