Central employees and pensioners were waiting for their increased dearness allowance and dearness relief for a long time, which is over now. The government has increased the dearness allowance of central employees from 17 percent to 28 percent. That is, there has been a bumper increase of 11 percent in dearness allowance. This decision has been taken in the meeting of the Union Cabinet led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday.
