Amma Vodi Scheme : The AP government has allocated Rs 6,450 crore for the implementation of the Amma odi scheme. Those who have a white ration card and Aadhaar card are eligible to avail the scheme. There are also some conditions because of the huge applications from the people. tax payers and i acres land owners are not eligible for the scheme .the government hopes to implement the scheme only if the students attend 75 per cent.

ఏపీలో వైసీపీ అధికారంలోకి వచ్చిన తర్వాత జగన్ చిన్నారుల చదువుల కోసం, అందమైన భవితవ్యం కోసం ప్రవేశపెట్టిన పథకం అమ్మ ఒడి .వై ఎస్ జగన్ ఎన్నికలకు ముందు తాను ఇచ్చిన హామీలో భాగంగా పిల్లలను బడికి పంపే ప్రతి తల్లి బ్యాంకు ఖాతాలో 15 వేలు జమచేసేలా ‘అమ్మ ఒడి' పధకాన్ని అమలు చేస్తామని చెప్పారు. ఇక ఆ మాట నిలబెట్టుకోటానికి ఆయన ప్రయత్నం చేస్తున్నారు. జనవరి 26 నుండి ఈ పథకం అందుబాటులోకి రానుంది .అయితే అమ్మ ఒడి పథకం అందరికీ అందించాలని భావించిన ప్రభుత్వానికి పథకం కోసం వస్తున్న దరఖాస్తులు షాక్ కు గురి చేస్తున్నాయి. అయితే ప్రస్తుతం అమ్మఒడి కింద దాదాపు 43 లక్షల మంది తల్లులకు ఈ పథకం అందించాల్సి వస్తుందని అంచనా వేస్తున్నారు అధికారులు.
