South Korea's main opposition Liberty Korea Party has slammed the government's economic, diplomatic and reform policies, claiming that the country had lost its past two and a half years under the Moon Jae-in administration.
In a policy speech at parliament on Tuesday, the LKP's floor leader Na Kyung-won brought up the nation's slowing economic growth which she says is on the verge of dropping to the 1 percent level.
She once again criticized the government's income-led growth policy as well as the falling employment rate and widening income gap.
The floor leader also hit out at the government's policies on North Korea, claiming that Pyeongyang's nuclear and missile capabilities have advanced even more and that it has been test firing missiles to threaten Seoul.
She stressed that it's time to recover ties with Washington and revive the past military exercises to protect Seoul's national security.
