A two-day South Korea-Russia joint military committee meeting, sparked by Russian military aircraft intrusion into South Korean air space, wrapped up today.
South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff has requested Russia to stop intruding into Korea's Air Defense Identification Zone... but it did not elaborate on Russia's response.
A South Korea military official says... the two sides have also agreed to continue their joint efforts to prevent accidental military conflicts, and promote mutual cooperation.
The issue of setting up a hotline to exchange flight information was also discussed.
