Two Russian aircraft entered South Korea's air defense identification zone without prior notice last Friday... prompting South Korea's Air Force to dispatch F-15K fighter jets in response.
A military source said today that two Russian anti-submarine TU-142 planes entered the KADIZ... near the southern coast of Jeju Island... four times for a total of one hour and 39 minutes.
No countermeasures were taken after the Russian pilots defined their purpose of flight... in response to the Air Force's warning messages.
Although no further details have been revealed, observers say it is presumed the two aircraft were part of a six-day Sino-Russian naval drills held near China's port city of Qingdao leading up to May 4.
