Google claims its quantum computer can beat 10,000-year task in 200 seconds

Imagine a machine that only needs 200 seconds just over three minutes to solve a problem that would take the world's second most powerful computer ten-thousand years to figure out.
Well, Google claims it has designed such a thing.
The tech giant said on Wednesday that it has achieved a breakthrough in computer research called "quantum supremacy."
While traditional computing relies on bits, or ones and zeros, quantum computing uses quantum bits or qubits can be both one and zero at the same time.
However, Google's main quantum computing rival IBM is questioning Google's claims, saying a regular supercomputer with additional disk storage could solve such problems within 2 and a half days with greater accuracy.
