The Trump Administration announced new tariffs on imported goods from Europe... set to kick in on October 18th.
The U.S. trade office has decided to impose 25 percent duties on agricultural and industrial goods... and 10 percent on aerospace products.
This... after the World Trade Organization ruled on Wednesday... that the Washington may slap tariffs on up to 7.5 billion U.S. dollars worth of goods from the EU.
The WTO gave the approval after judging that European aerospace firm Airbus... had been provided with illegal government subsidies.
The EU has made its own request to levy new tariffs on American goods.,... over similar allegations surrounding U.S. aerospace giant Boeing.
