Gov't to help Korean SMEs affected by boycott of Japan
  • 5 years ago
The South Korean government is going to help small businesses affected by the boycott... get loans worth more than 90 million U.S. dollars.
According to the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, starting next month, about 58 million dollars will go to the tourism sector, enabling businesses to borrow up to 580-thousand dollars each.
They'll receive discounts on the fee they pay for the guarantee... and can repay the loans over seven years.
Guaranteed loans worth about 8-point-3 million dollars will go to other businesses that sell Japanese products, like restaurants and supermarkets.
