Real Madrid beats Bayern, 1-0

Real Madrid moved a step closer to a first Champions League final appearance in 12 years after beating defending champion Bayern Munich, 1-0. Bayern dominated possession in the first half, but did not pose much of a threat to the home goal. In the 19th minute, a Karim Benzema strike propelled the nine-time winners to victory.
