통일부 "북한 연이은 비난, 남북관계 발전에 도움 안 돼... 연합훈련 北 겨냥한 것 아냐"

North Korea's denunciations of Seoul over the joint military drills with Washington are not helping to improve cross-border ties.
The unification ministry explained the ongoing "Combined Command Post Training" exercise is not a large-scale field drill that targets the regime, but only a computer-based exercise that prepares for OPCON transfer from Washington to Seoul.
And emphasized, the exercise does not violate the inter-Korean military agreement.
Pyeongyang's foreign ministry issued a statement on Sunday, that it won't talk with the South unless it pulls out of the joint military exercises or provides a convincing reason.
