This beautiful song was written by Anna Farestveit Erlandsen in 2001. I first heard her sing it at Kristent Felleskap, Bergen, Norway, shortly after it was written. Its appeal was immediate. I have used two different versions: one with modern words and phrases and the other with a more old-fashioned language that actually is closer in grammar and phrasing to King James Version English
