The Northern Lights illuminated the sky with a green and purple shimmering glow in Eagle Harbor, Michigan, on August 5. Aurora could be visible from Canada and the extreme northern United States on August 6, amid a minor geomagnetic storm watch, according to the Space Weather Prediction Center.
