Trump's Visit to North Korea Is the First for a Sitting
US President He went on to hold a near one-hour meeting with Kim Jong Un, his third with North Korea's leader. During the session, Trump said that talks regarding North Korea's
nuclear program would
resume in "weeks." The president even
offered Kim an invitation
to the White House. Trump has held
two previous conferences
with North Korea regarding
nuclear weapons. Both meetings have ended with no deal being reached. The last summit, which happened in February, ended after North Korea demanded that
nuclear sanctions be lifted. Trump says he will take
his time on reaching a deal. President Trump, via press pool
