The race for the ICC World Cup semi-final spots is now heating up. At the start of the tournament there were 7 teams realistically looking to seal a spot but now things are a bit different.Australia are the first team in the tournament to book their spot in the semis after winning six out of their first seven matches. India too are more or less there with 11 points from first six games and a vastly superior net run rate. India need to win just one more point to guarantee their spot and they would fancy their chances with games against Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and England left. It is fair to assume that India are as good as through to the knock-out stage of the ICC cricket World Cup.
