Trump imposes hard-hitting sanctions in response to Iran’s ‘hostile conduct’

US President Donald Trump signed an executive order on June 24, 2019 to impose tough sanctions on Iran. The order will deny Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and his affiliates access to key financial resources and support.
