Trump Imposes Terrorism Sanctions On North Korea

On Monday, President Donald Trump declared North Korea a state sponsor of terrorism. The designation allows the United States to impose additional sanctions. It also risks inflaming tensions over Pyongyang’s nuclear weapons and missile programs.
The Republican president has traded personal insults with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un but has not ruled out talks. He said the Treasury Department will announce more sanctions against North Korea on Tuesday.
