The board of directors at AXiomatic include Ted Leonsis, owner of the NHL's Washington Capitals and the Washington Wizards, and Pete Guber, co-owner of the Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Dodgers. According to 'Bloomberg,' Jordan is joining an investor group that is putting $26 million into the third-most-valuable esports franchise in the world. Jordan's individual investment amount has not been disclosed. Other big names who have invested in esports include Shaquille O'Neal, Steph Curry, Mark Cuban, and most recently, Drake. According to the research firm Newzoo, the esports industry is expected to generate about $906 million this year.
