Good morning. It's shaping up to be another hot one under sunny skies. A heat wave advisory has been issued in parts of Gangwon-do Province, including Gapyeong county and Gwangju-si, with an expected afternoon high of 32 degrees Celsius. Seoul will also be hot with highs going up to 31 degrees. Daegu will also notice a big rise in temperatures.
Due to atmospheric instability, some inland regions will have passing showers with 5 to 30 millimeters of rain. The rest of us will be under dazzling sunshine, packing strong UV rays. Sun gear and sun block is a must.
Checking on today's temperatures, we have a breezy start the day with lows ranging between 16 and 20 degrees Celsius. Sunny skies in most parts this morning.
Daily highs in Seoul, Daejeon, Chuncheon will hit 31 degrees, Busan and Jeju will have a pleasant afternoon at 24 and 25 degrees.
