Lingering rain in south, brighter skies 053119

Good morning. Southern parts of the country saw some showers overnight. Rain will linger through the morning commute hours with about 5 millimeters expected so drive with care.

Upper parts of the country will have similar weather to yesterday, a cool start will turn warm by the afternoon. Southern provinces will notice a drop in temperatures due to yesterday's clouds so let's take a look.

Lots of clouds to start the day with showers on Jeju and other southern areas, morning lows in most areas are in the mid teens.

Highs will be 2 to 5 degrees lower and skies will get brighter. Highs in Daegu and Gwangju will be nearly 5 degrees lower at 26 and 23 degrees respectively. Expect good to normal air across the country.

Over in Budapest, scene of the tragic boat sinking, heavy rain has eased off and temperatures will also rise a bit compared to Thursday but there is still the chance of passing showers.
