CBI summons former Kolkata cop Rajeev Kumar; Mamata Banerjee reinstates Rajeev

Former Kolkata top cop Rajeev Kumar, accused of destroying evidence in the multi crore Saradha Chit Fund Scam, has been summoned by the CBI today, after it was unable to locate him at his former residence in Kolkata last evening. The CBI has issued a notice to Mamata Banerjee's former top cop to appear before it tomorrow at its Kolkata office after it failed to meet him at his residence. The CBI has also issued look out circular to the ports and airports to desist Rajeev from fleeing the country.
