Michigan Hires Former Star Juwan Howard as New Head Coach The Fab Five member has agreed to a five-year
contract, starting at $2 million per year. The University of Michigan made the

recruiting class in 1991. He helped lead the Wolverines to
two national championship games
and one Elite Eight appearance. Howard replaces John Beilein, who left
Michigan last week to accept the head
coaching position for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Beilein led Michigan to two Final Fours
in 12 seasons with the Wolverines.
