According to Seoul's top intelligence agency,... the projectiles launched by North Korea on Thursday could be a new type of weapons system.
The National Intelligence Service explained,... that's why the government is taking longer to determine what type of missiles they were.
It also analyzed Thursday's firing was part of a military drill,... but clearly violated September's inter-Korean military agreement.
The NIS agreed with the Blue House assessment,... that the Pentagon's statement classifying the projectiles as ballistic missiles... does not appear to be the official view of the U.S. government.
