Some of the southern regions saw temperatures close to 30 degrees Celsius today.
I hear it's going to be even hotter over the weekend.

Hi guys, it definitely feels like summer.
And as you mentioned,... Uiseong in Gyeongsangbuk-do Province topped 29 degrees Celsius.
Keep in mind that it's still chilly in the morning and night,... with more than 10 degree difference for Seoul,... so dress accordingly.
Temperatures over the long weekend will remain higher than average.
Unfortunately we'll also see high levels of fine dust,... especially in the northwest of the peninsula.
Beijing will remain hot but a few notches lower than today, while skies over Tokyo will clear in the afternoon.
Let's have a look at our readings for tomorrow,..
Seoul will be warmer than today,... beginning at 12 degrees Celsius, while Jeju starts off in the mid-teens.
UV rays will be particularly strong across the nation tomorrow so make sure to apply sunblock if you're heading outside.
The unseasonably hot weather is expected to last until Sunday,... but by Monday, we can expect some relief from the heat.
