Former UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon,... who now heads the presidential committee on national climate,.... will visit the National Assembly to ask for cooperation from lawmakers to tackle fine-dust pollution.
He'll meet with the leadership of the ruling Democratic Party and two minor opposition parties this afternoon.
He'll save his meeting with the main opposition Liberty Korea Party until later this month due to scheduling issues.
Ban is expected to talk about the need to work together when dealing with the fine-dust issue,... as everyone has the right to breathe clean air.
The National Council on Climate and Air Quality was launched on Monday.
