Police launched an operation to remove demonstrators from a pink boat at Oxford Street in central London as Extinction Rebellion protests entered a fifth day.

Footage shows police officers surrounding a pink boat to which protesters had glued themselves together earlier today (April 19).

Officers can be seen carrying away protesters further on in the video.

More than 500 people have been arrested at protests this week in Oxford Circus, Parliament Square and Waterloo Bridge.
