President Moon Jae-in is urging the National Assembly to press ahead with two new justice nominees for the Constitutional Court -- after lawmakers failed to adopt reports on their confimation hearings by Monday's deadline.
According to the top office, he asked the reports for Lee Mi-sun... and Moon Hyung-bae... be approved by Thursday.
Opposition parties have protested their appointments.
The president can still appoint them even if the reports are not approved,... and is likely to do so by Friday as their predecessors' terms end Thursday.
