South Korea's National Assembly has started confirmation hearings for President Moon Jae-in's new minister-level nominees.
In the hot seat today is agricultural minister nominee Kim Hyun-soo.... and Eun Sung-soo,... tapped to head up the Financial Services Commission.
Rival parties have vowed to closely screen the nominees to gauge their ability to carry out relevant policies successfully as well as their morality.
President Moon carried out a reshuffle this month in a bid to inject fresh momentum into his Cabinet as he heads toward the halfway point of his five-year team.
