Pompeo meets IAEA chief, expresses support towards nuclear nonproliferation

Meeting the head of the IAEA on Wednesday,.... U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo expressed his support for the UN agency's work on nuclear nonproliferation... and promoting the peaceful uses of nuclear energy.
The U.S. State Department says they talked about the IAEA's verification role in Iran,... but it's also believed they would've discussed North Korea as well.
The day before, the IAEA chief, Yukiya Amano, briefed the UN Security Council.
He said the IAEA would be ready to send inspectors into North Korea within weeks for monitoring and verification purposes... if a denuclearization deal was reached.
