Duty-free shops in the arrival terminals of Incheon International Airport are set to open on May 31st.
The customs agency said two small local companies,... SM Duty Free and Entas Duty Free have been selected as the operators for South Korea's first arrival duty-free shops.
The stores will sell cosmetics, perfumes and alcohol.
The move is aimed at alleviating the inconvenience of having to travel with duty-free items purchased before departing the country.
It also expected to create hundreds of jobs.
