Nine operators submit bids to open duty-free shops at Incheon Int'l Airport arrivals areas

Nine business entities have submitted bids to open duty-free shops in the arrivals areas of Incheon Airport.
Incheon International Airport Corporation said Friday... five operators have applied to run shops in the arrivals area of terminal one... while all nine bidding operators have requested to run shops in terminal two.
Bidders include SM Duty Free Corporation, The Grand Duty Free, Entas Duty Free and the Korean subsidiary of the world's largest duty free store operator Dufry Thomas Julie( ).
Later this year Korea will allow duty-free shops to be introduced in its arrivals areas in airports for the first time.
Up until now, duty-free shops have only been operated in departures areas.
