S. Korea-China air route expanded from Dec. 6, more outbound flights expected at Incheon Int'l Airport

More airplanes from South Korea will be flying over China on their way to other regions starting today.
South Korea's transportation ministry says the two countries have agreed to expand their air route leading to Europe and the Middle East.
The single route between the two countries,... which stretches for some 1-thousand-700 kilometers, will be doubled for outbound flights from South Korea's Incheon International Airport.
As a result, the number of slots per hour for Europe-bound flights will increase from six to ten.
The ministry says the expansion will ease departure delays at the airport.
