Angelina Jolie Reportedly Joining Marvel Superhero Universe According to 'The Hollywood Reporter,'
Jolie is in talks to appear in
Marvel's 'The Eternals.' Though no official announcement has been made, the project was confirmed by studio president Kevin Feige last April. According to The Wrap, it is suspected that Jolie will play the main character, Sersi. The character of Sersi will be a human
who has been given superpowers by
aliens, making her nearly invincible. According to 'The Guardian,'
'The Eternals' will be written by Matthew
and Ryan Firpo and directed by Chloé Zhao. Jolie is currently working on
'Maleficent: Mistress of Evil,' which is
expected to release in October of 2019.
