Angelina Jolie's Daughter Vivienne Looks So Grown Up On Red Carpet

00:00 Angelina Jolie had a special night out on Broadway with her youngest daughter.

00:05 On Thursday night in New York City, 15-year-old Vivian joined her famous mama on the red carpet

00:10 for opening night of the new musical, The Outsiders.

00:14 For the event, Angelina wore a gold dress paired with a cape, and she was snapped proudly

00:19 posing with her daughter on the red carpet.

00:22 The Outsiders is a project that means a lot to the mother-daughter duo.

00:26 Oscar winner is lead producer on the musical, and her daughter is working with her as her

00:31 volunteer assistant.

00:33 News of Vivian's involvement broke last summer, and at the time, Angelina gushed over just

00:38 how great it was to have her input, telling multiple outlets in a statement, quote, "Viv

00:43 reminds me of my mother in that she isn't focused on being the center of attention,

00:48 but in being support to other creatives.

00:50 She's very thoughtful and serious about theater, and working hard to best understand how to

00:55 contribute."

00:57 She and Vivian reportedly met with S.E.

00:59 Hinton, who wrote the novel, The Outsiders, after watching the musical's premiere at the

01:04 La Jolla Playhouse earlier in 2023.

01:08 And this isn't the first time Angie has collaborated with her kids.

01:12 Back in 2021, Angelina and her Eternals co-star, Salma Hayek, shared how much they love to

01:17 see their respective children follow in their fashionable footsteps, with Angie's daughter,

01:23 Zara, re-wearing her 2014 Oscars dress for the Marvel premiere.

01:30 I feel like if my mom would have kept some of her clothes, I'd be raiding her closet

01:33 too.

01:34 But that's normal, right?

01:35 For kids to go in there and get the clothes?

01:36 Yeah, well, and also we talked, this was, I mean, I don't have those things in my closet.

01:41 We just had them somewhere in a box, and I decided to pull some stuff out because we

01:46 were talking about upcycling and using things and using things you already have.

01:52 And so we had those discussions in the house.

01:54 And so it was a fun idea of nobody's forced to, but if you can find something that's already

01:57 been made that you like, and then it's fun.

02:01 And then of course it was just, you know, to see her in it and how gorgeous and, you

02:06 know, when you, when it's also when you're a mom and it's, you pass it to, it's their

02:09 turn, right?

02:10 It's their turn.

02:11 And you say, "Oh, she looks so much better than I did."

02:14 It's time.

02:17 And it's, and it's, it's their time now.

02:18 So I was very excited.

02:20 You know, she just goes into my closet instead of going into a store and just takes everything.

02:26 I do struggle sometimes finding my stuff.

02:27 I bet you have a very good closet at home.

02:30 At home, all my, it's like black.

02:32 Mine's a very boring closet at home.

02:34 Yes, that's true.

02:36 But it's been changing lately.
