Senior Russian politicians in N. Korea to discuss economic cooperation

A delegation of senior politicians from Russia is in North Korea to discuss economic cooperation.
According to the Russian news agency TASS, the group is led by Russia's former ambassador to the United States,... Sergey Kislyak,... and they arrived in North Korea on Saturday.
Kislyak said the purpose of the visit is to continue talks with Russia's ally... and to get a deeper understanding of North Korea's ambitions.
They'll be in Pyeongyang until this coming Thursday.
Russia and North Korea are engaging elsewhere too -- last week in Moscow, a senior official in charge of Russia's ties with the Asia-Pacific region met with North Korea's vice foreign minister.
